Advisory Council

Our Indigenous Advisory Council ensures Sedgwick’s approach to major project development is guided by an Indigenous perspective.

The Council provides guidance to Sedgwick’s staff and decision-making support to our leadership team. Our Advisory Council is made up of Indigenous business leaders with real life experience in advancing Indigenous peoples and developing better projects.

My ancestral name is Ses Siyam; I intend to improve the quality of life for the Squamish people. It’s time to stop just surviving and start thriving.

I have been actively emersed in learning our Squamish culture since my youth. In this role, guided by our cultural values and traditions, this will positively shape the future of our Nation. My traditional knowledge of culture, language and skills in conjunction with my business experience and education will be an asset to the Squamish Nation Council.

I have always been drawn to the teachings of Squamish culture, especially the language and traditional lifestyle.

This traditional knowledge has been my inspiration for my career, education and community involvement. My late Grandfather, Norman Natrall, was on Chief and Council, my Great Grandfather was an historian, carver, longhouse builder, cultural leader for the Squamish people, as well as a World War I veteran; I am following in their foot-steps and taking my place amongst our people.

I have worked hard to further my professional development with my education and business experience. Highlights of my resume are:
