Her experience spans various industries, including hospitality, quality assurance, technology, and natural resources development.
Johanna leads external affairs for clients, develops key marketing and communications strategies, and ensures successful engagement with stakeholders. She takes an active role in facilitating beneficial partnerships and agreements between major resource projects and Indigenous nations, driving economic reconciliation.
Before joining Sedgwick Strategies, Johanna managed external relations and communications for the Canadian LNG Alliance, where she led active stakeholder engagement and public relations initiatives. Her experience with TomTom in Amsterdam refined her expertise in logistics for European markets, and she has successfully led the planning and execution of several large corporate conferences.
Growing up on an organic farm in the Okanagan Valley instilled in Johanna a deep respect for the environment and a commitment to sustainable development practices, which she brings to her professional work. An avid traveler, she has journeyed to over 33 countries, enriching her passion for cultural diversity and sustainable development. Johanna leverages her international experience and education to enhance her work in integrated corporate affairs.
Johanna holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. Fluent in German, she enjoys spending her free time outdoors, gardening, or hiking mountain trails with her dog, Luna.
