Rodrigo Rojas

Rodrigo is a public policy professional with almost a decade of experience across education, sustainability, and regional policy development.

His work spans both the public and private sectors, including the design and implementation of public policy at the executive and legislative levels in Mexico, as well as sustainability initiatives and regional policy work in Canada, including efforts to help advance Indigenous-led environmental assessments at Squamish Nation. Across these roles, Rodrigo has focused on translating research and policy analysis into practical solutions, supporting cross-sector collaboration, and advancing initiatives that deliver meaningful social, economic, and environmental outcomes.

At Sedgwick Strategies, Rodrigo supports clients with policy research, stakeholder analysis, and the development of clear, evidence-based communications. His experience working across government, industry, and community-facing initiatives allows him to help clients navigate complex policy environments, identify opportunities for stakeholder alignment, and advance projects with clarity, purpose, and long-term impact.

Rodrigo holds a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia, a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and a Specialization in History of Economic Thought from the same institution.

Outside of work, Rodrigo enjoys playing the guitar, learning about and caring for native plants, and watching as many films as he can.
