Isabela Ortiz
Senior Manager, Client ServicesIsabela Ortiz is a Senior Manager of Client Services at Sedgwick Strategies. With five years of experience in the consulting sector, Isabela has led urban and socio-economic development projects in Vancouver for local municipalities, green energy companies, local First Nation non-profits, and national urban Indigenous coalitions.
Central to her practice is a deep commitment to Indigenous relations. Isabela brings social research, communications, and community engagement skills to every client and project she leads at Sedgwick, grounded in the belief that relationship building and authentic conversations are at the core of sustainable outcomes. This is reflected in her personal research, which examines Indigenous economic reconciliation and cultural survival through the lens of Indigenous communities in Panama.
Passionate about community development, Isabela has volunteered with newcomer and immigrant settlement services, community empowerment organisations, and youth-led climate and policy initiatives. Outside of work, she enjoys walking the city, supporting local businesses, recharging in nature, and nurturing her social circles in Vancouver and her hometown.
