Senior Manager, Client ServicesAs Senior Manager of Client Services at Sedgwick Strategies, Johanna leads strategic initiatives for mining and energy clients operating in some of BC’s most complex natural resource environments.
Since joining Sedgwick in 2022, she has supported private sector resource companies through integrated corporate affairs encompassing stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and Indigenous relations.
A certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® with over a decade of experience, Johanna specializes in navigating multi-stakeholder environments, where she plays a key role in facilitating partnerships and agreements between major projects and Indigenous Nations, helping drive positive social and economic outcomes through responsible resource development.
Before joining Sedgwick, Johanna led stakeholder relations and communications for the Canadian LNG Alliance. Previously, she managed sales logistics for the European market at TomTom in Amsterdam. Her background also includes coordinating large-scale corporate events and executing multi-platform communications initiatives.
Raised on an organic farm in the Okanagan Valley, Johanna’s professional values are grounded in environmental responsibility and respect for the land. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. Her global experiences have shaped a broad perspective on interconnected challenges from energy security to climate resilience and food security. An avid traveler, she has explored more than 30 countries and spends her free time outdoors, gardening, or hiking trails with her dog, Luna.
