Manager, Client ServicesLeda Omid is a Client Services Manager at Sedgwick Strategies. With experience in journalism, political communications, and public affairs, she brings her expertise to help Sedgwick’s clientele implement their projects efficiently and effectively.
Leda began her career as a TV News Producer at CityNews Vancouver, where she developed a strong foundation in storytelling, editorial judgment, and fast-paced content production. She later transitioned into political communications as a Communications Manager for a political party, where she led social media and digital content, and supported major campaign initiatives, including policy announcements, candidate launches, and by-elections. She also worked for the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, supporting the critic for infrastructure on communications and policy for key infrastructure projects.
Leda holds a diploma in Broadcast and Online Journalism from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, graduating with distinction. She was recognized with the Canadian Media Educators National Student Award for Excellence in Video Newscast. Raised in Coquitlam, B.C., she remains closely connected to her community and enjoys travelling, practicing yoga, and exploring British Columbia’s unmatched natural beauty.
